Sick of It {open}

Indago sat in a corner of the room of requirement. Christina laid asleep in the crib. The room had set itself up to be like a small apartment. There was a crib for the baby, a queen sized bed, a small kitchenette, a closet and a fireplace. It was homy. But Indago was tired of being labeled an "emo", tired of June and her followers, and just generally tired sleep wise. Indago vaguely wondered when the last time she got eight hours of sleep in a night was... I've had enough of this, I'm going to try and be the old Indago again. For Minnie's sake, for Christina's, for Liliana's, for Jasmine's, for Lily's, for Evan's, for my sake. Thought Indago, whipping out her wand. She tapped her wand to her head, instantly her hair faded from black to its original vivid red. She needed to be proud of her Weasley and Potter heritage, avenge her murdered parents, carry on their traits with pride instead of covering them up. Indago looked in the mirror, then it all came back to her. How things were before June, before Cassandra, when she was just an innocent third year... Wait, something was out of place, the bangs. Indago didn't have bangs before, she fixed that too. With another wave of her wand, the bangs grew out, even with the rest of her hair. But something still wasn't right... She looked a lot older, not as childish and innocent. But that was boud to happen with age. However, Indago did see something she hadn't seen in a long time, the twinkle in her eyes was back.

Jasmine sat in hawk form above. Seh grinned at Indago's new change. Now Christina will have a good mom. Jasmine flew out an open window.

Wait, Jasmine, come back! Indago projected to the hawk before she got too far away.

Jasmine flew back in and transformed. She gently stroked Christina's head as she looked at Indago. "Yes?" she responded.

"I wanted to give you something." said Indago, pulling from a drawer an elaborate sweater. It was powder blue, it was very soft and warm. The sweater had purple patterned stitches around the bottom and the end of the sleeves. "And I want you to take it. You've already paid me in a way that desrves more than a sweater, but I don't think I'd be able to get you to take it. Just take the sweater, it's due to you that I'm close to the way I used to be." said Indago, holding out the sweater, but she had a nagging feeling Jasmine wouldn't take it.

"And how is it do to me that you changed? I heard you list all of those people. " she said skepticlly as she put her hands on her hips. Freebes...she hated them.

"For their sake, to make their lives better. Please, just take it, don't consider it a freebee, think of it as a simple sweater." said Indago.

Jasmine was cold lately. Why did everybody insist. Jasmine was not in the mood to be stubborn so she took it. She dug in her pocket and pulled out all of her money. 2 bronze knuts and a silver sickle. Seh gave Indago a bronze knut. "I need the rest for my kids" she murmered.

"I don't want it, I didn't buy the sweater, I made it. Keep your money, I don't need it." Indago said softly, a tone of finalty to her voice. She put the knut on top of the sweater in Jasmine's arms.

Jasmine felt tears inher eyes for no reason. Seh didnt know why but she began to cry. Why? was all she could think. Why everything.

"Aww, don't cry!" said Indago, hugging Jasmine. Indago gently smoothed Jasmine's hair.

Jasmine couldn't help it. She didnt know why she was even crying. Seh couldnt explain anything anymore.

"It's alright, there's nothing to cry about." Indago said soothingly, still hugging Jasmine.

"Apparently there is if I am crying and dont know why" she said. Seh wiped away her tears and put her money away. Seh put on her sweater. Sseh smiled gratefully at INdago and straightened up. She sat on the bed and sighed.

Indago beamed as she sat beside Jasmine and placed an arm around her shoulders.
